Turgay ÖZGENÇ is graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration in 1998.  He started working as an Assistant Tax Auditor in the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Finance and served as a Tax Auditor in the Head of Tax Offices of Istanbul and Adana in 2002.

He has been certified as a Public Internal Auditor since 2007. He was successful in the Sworn Certified Public Accountant exam held in 2011 and was entitled to the title of Sworn Certified Public Accountant. Turgay Özgenç, who left the institution in 2013, has been serving as a Sworn Certified Public Accountant, Managing Partner of Konsolide Tax Certification Services as of 2013.

Turgay ÖZGENÇ, whose articles have been published in various journals in the field of financial legislation, speaks English. He is married with 2 children and is a member of various non-governmental organizations.
